Meeting of Expo-Contract Group of Companies, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and MODON

The meeting, within the framework of the WAM (World Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics Summit & Expo) summit in Riyadh,focused on the localization of Russian companies and industrial cooperation. Taking into account the priorities set out in the National Industrial Development Program of Saudi Arabia, promising projects for the location of production facilities in special economic zones were considered:

  • They intend to create 17 logistics centers, a dry port and a product freezing center with a total area of 16,000,000 sqr. m., which will turn the Kingdom into a global logistics and construction hub.
  • An ambitious goal has been set to open 505 high-tech factories and create 11,000 jobs by 2030.
  • The KSA government allocates 273 billion US dollars for high-tech international start-ups in the field of production and energy.
  • To implement the plan and ensure a direct dialogue between business and the government of Saudi Arabia, in November 2025, Riyadh will host WAM Saudi 2025 - the largest exhibition event that brings together leaders of advanced manufacturing, government agencies, ministers and global investors.
